Klamath River Salmon People Gathering
We are gathering together with Salmon People tribes from up and down the west coast on the banks of the Klamath River, to celebrate the recent dam removal and its profound impact on the area. The goal is to keep moving in this direction, together, to remove dams from the Snake River, too.
Eclipse Festival
We will be showing up with our Salmon People story at the Eclipse Festival in Austin, TX this year, in order to expand our reach and share these important stories with more people.
Return to Orcas Island
We are so excited to return to our Ancestral homelands, and share some of the work we have been doing to protect salmon, help heal, and lift up Indigenous voices. It’s good to be home!

Lightcatcher | Whatcom Museum showcasing Tribal Canoe Journeys: Paddle to Lummi
The Whatcom Museum features photographs documenting the Tribal Canoe Journey of 2019, Paddle to Lummi. Since 1989, this significant cultural experience has occurred annually and is hosted by different tribal nations of and around the Salish Sea, with the Lummi Nation hosting the most recent journey in 2019.
